WEEK 1 — ELOHIM (FULL TEXT)

This week; do not rush past this.

Before anything was formed in your life…
before your thoughts, your fears, your striving…
God already was.

And not only was He there…
He was forming.

His Name is Elohim — the Creator God.

The One who speaks… and things begin.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
— Genesis 1:1

“So, God created man in His own image…”
— Genesis 1:27

“You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.”
— Psalm 139:13

This is not a distant history.
This is your origin.

You are not random.

Not your life.
Not your placement.
Not even the parts of you that you struggle to understand.

You were formed.

Intentionally.
Carefully.
Personally.

There is a quiet lie that settles into the heart over time…
that we are the result of chance,
that we must build ourselves,
that meaning is something we must create alone.

But Elohim speaks something different.

He does not discover you.
He creates you.

He does not react to your life.
He authors it.

And even now, in places you feel unfinished…
He is still forming.

So, stop here and breathe for a moment.

Let go of the pressure to become something on your own.

You are already someone
who has been shaped by the hands of God.

Reflect

Where in your life have you been living as if you are self-made?

What would change if you truly believed you were formed by God?

Prayer

Elohim,

You formed me before I understood myself.
You saw me before I saw You.

Strip away the lie that I am random…
and root me in the truth that I am Yours.

Teach me to live as one who has been created with intention,
not accident.

And in the places where I feel unfinished,
remind me that You are still forming me.

Amen.
