This week do not rush past this.

It is one thing to believe that God is real.

It is another to believe that He is near.

Not just aware of your life…
but present within it.

Close enough to meet you
in the middle of what you’re carrying.

And yet, it is easy to live
as if He is still at a distance.

Watching.
Observing.

But not stepping into your world.

That is not how He revealed Himself.

His Name is Immanuel — God With Us.

Not God above us.
Not God around us.

God with us.

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son,
and shall call His name Immanuel,”
which is translated, “God with us.”
— Matthew 1:23

This is not a distant promise.

It is a revealed reality.

God did not remain removed
from the world you live in.

He stepped into it.

Into the brokenness.
Into the uncertainty.
Into the weight of human life.

He did not wait for everything to be right.

He came into it as it was.

This is what we often struggle to believe.

That God is not only aware of your life…

He has entered into it.

Into your questions.

Into your struggles.

Into the moments that feel heavy
and the ones that feel ordinary.

And He has not stepped away.

Immanuel is not a moment in history.

It is the nature of God
to be with you.

So, stop here and breathe for a moment.

Where have you been living
as if God is still distant?

Where have you been carrying things alone
that He has already stepped into?

You are not reaching for a God
who is far away.

You are walking with a God
who has come near.

And who remains.

Reflect

Where in your life have you been acting as if God is distant?

What would change if you truly believed He is with you right now?

Prayer

Immanuel,

You are God with me.

Not distant.
Not removed.

But present in my life.

Forgive me for the ways I have lived
as if I am alone.

For the moments I have carried things
without turning to You.

Open my awareness
to Your nearness.

Teach me to walk with You
in every part of my life…
not just when I feel it,
but because it is true.

You have come near.

And You remain.

Amen.
