This week; do not rush past this.

There is a difference between existing…
and truly being alive.

It is possible to keep moving forward externally
while something within you feels worn down.

Empty.

Disconnected.

You continue doing what needs to be done.

You keep functioning.

But underneath it all…
life can begin to feel reduced to survival.

And in that place,
it becomes easy to forget
what you were actually created for.

But Jesus did not come
simply to help you endure life.

His Name is The Life.

Not temporary vitality.

Not surface-level fulfillment.

Life itself.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.’”
— John 14:6

“I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.”
— John 10:10

This is not merely about existing forever.

It is about being made alive now.

Deep within.

In the places that feel numb.

In the places that have become exhausted.

In the places where joy has faded
into routine.

This is what we often miss.

We search for life
in things that only stimulate us temporarily.

Achievements.

Experiences.

Endless movement and distraction.

But no matter how much we consume,
something still feels incomplete.

Because life was never meant
to be found apart from the One who is Life itself.

Jesus does not simply improve your existence.

He restores what sin, fear, exhaustion, and striving
slowly drained from within you.

He awakens what has gone dormant.

He breathes life
into what feels spiritually dry and weary.

And He does not offer fragments of life.

He offers abundance.

Not abundance defined by possessions or comfort

but by fullness in Him.

So, stop here and breathe for a moment.

Where have you been surviving
instead of truly living?

What has drained life from within you?

You were not created
merely to endure your days.

You were created
to be fully alive in Him.

And He has not stopped breathing life toward you.

Reflect

Where in your life do you feel spiritually exhausted or numb?

What would it look like to receive life from Jesus instead of searching for it elsewhere?

Prayer

Jesus,

You are the Life.

Not temporary relief…
but true and lasting life.

Forgive me for the ways I have searched
for fulfillment apart from You.

For the patterns of striving, distraction, and exhaustion
that have drained what You intended to be alive within me.

Breathe life into the places
that feel weary and numb.

Restore joy where it has faded.

Restore peace where anxiety has settled.

Restore wonder where routine has taken over.

Teach me to remain in You…
not just surviving,
but truly alive.

You are the Life.

And I will trust You here.

Amen.

If you need a place to slow down and be renewed in Him this week…
