This week; do not rush past this.
Not every wound can be seen.
Some pain settles quietly beneath the surface.
Hidden behind routine.
Hidden behind strength.
Hidden behind the version of yourself
you present to everyone else.
And over time…
it becomes easy to believe
that healing only applies to what is physical.
But there are deeper places within you
that need restoration too.
His Name is Yahweh Rapha — The Lord Who Heals.
Not only the body…
but the heart, the mind, and the soul.
“For I am the Lord who heals you.”
— Exodus 15:26
“He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3
This is not shallow healing.
It is not pretending wounds do not exist.
It is God moving into the places
you thought would always remain broken.
This is what we often struggle to believe.
That healing is possible
for the parts of us that feel deeply damaged.
The grief that still lingers.
The disappointment we never fully processed.
The anxiety that quietly shapes our days.
The wounds left by words, failures, betrayal, or loss.
And because those places are difficult to face…
we learn to live around them
instead of bringing them to God.
But Yahweh Rapha does not turn away
from wounded places.
He moves toward them.
Not with shame.
Not with condemnation.
But with restoration.
Healing does not always happen instantly.
Sometimes it unfolds slowly…
layer by layer,
moment by moment,
as His presence reaches deeper than your defenses.
But do not mistake process for absence.
The Healer is still present.
Still working.
Still restoring what feels fractured within you.
So, stop here and breathe for a moment.
What pain have you learned to carry quietly?
What wounded place have you stopped bringing before God?
You do not have to hide your brokenness from Him.
He already sees it fully.
And He has not stepped away.
Yahweh Rapha is still healing.
Even here.
Reflect
What area of your life still needs healing beyond the surface?
What would it look like to invite God into that place instead of hiding it?
Prayer
Yahweh Rapha,
You are the Lord who heals.
Not only what can be seen…
but what is hidden deep within me.
Forgive me for the ways I have hidden my wounds
instead of bringing them before You.
For the places where I stopped believing
restoration was possible.
Meet me in those places again.
Bring healing where pain still lingers.
Bring peace where anxiety has settled.
Bring restoration where something within me feels fractured.
And teach me to trust Your process
even when healing unfolds slowly.
You are still working.
Still restoring.
Still healing.
And I will trust You here.
Amen.
If you need a place to slow down and let Him meet you in your healing this week…
